The First and Only "Killer Pool" League

One Shot.
One Kill.
No Mercy.

The world's first pool league where amateurs can beat the pros. Pocket any ball and stay alive. Miss, and you're one step closer to elimination. Slop counts.

The Movement

"Pool has always been about the hustle, the drama, the crowd around the table. STK brings that back."

Founded by Neille Caroline, NYC's "Night Mayor" entrusted with Efren "The Magician" Reyes' road cue as he elevated the game to reach GOAT status, Shoot to Kill is the city's first pool league where the amateur shooting after work has the same chance to win as someone who's been playing for 20 years.

Our tiered handicap system levels the playing field. Beginners get five strikes. Pros play one-handed or must bank every shot. The format is simple: pocket any ball and stay alive. Miss, and you're one step closer to elimination. Slop counts.

Fast. Loud. Electric.

Unlike traditional leagues plagued by slow play and bureaucracy, STK games move fast — one shot per turn, three rounds per night, real-time scoring through our custom mobile app. Earn bonus points for supporting our venue partners. This is pool for people who actually want to have fun.

How to Play

Simple rules. Intense gameplay. Here's everything you need to know.

Game Format — "Shoot to Kill"

Everyone plays at once. One shot. One chance. Sink or strike.

  • All players shoot on the same table, rotating turns
  • Each player gets ONE shot per turn
  • Pocket ANY ball to earn points and survive
  • Miss, scratch, or foul = 1 strike
  • Reach your strike limit = eliminated
  • Breaker gets one extra shot if no ball pocketed on break
  • Last player standing wins the round

Match Format — 3 Rounds

  • Round 1 (Standard): Every ball pocketed = 1 point. Top 2 advance to Shootout.
  • Round 2 (Double Points): Every ball pocketed = 2 points. Top 2 advance to Shootout.
  • Round 3 (Shootout): Top players compete. Making shootout = +5 pts, 2nd place = +10 pts, 1st place = +15 pts.

Handicap System

Players are handicapped based on skill level. Everyone gets a fair shot.

Tier Strikes Description
Rookie Reaper 5 Absolute beginner
Smooth Shooter 4 APA 2/3
Street Shark 3 Most players
Deadeye 2 Fargo 550+
Ghost Tier 3 + Challenge Open / Pro players (Fargo 650+) — must shoot one-handed, opposite-handed, or bank every shot

Roster Composition Rules

Team lineups are capped at 20 players maximum and must meet the following handicap composition requirements:

  • Max 2 Ghost Tier (3 strikes + challenge): They're special for a reason. This isn't an all-star team.
  • Max 2 Deadeyes (2 strikes): Enough heat to win, not enough to bully.
  • Street Sharks (3 strikes): The backbone of Shoot to Kill. They set the tone, keep matches honest, and make everyone else earn it.
  • Min 2 Smooth Shooters (4 strikes): If you can't develop players, you can't lead a team.
  • Min 2 Rookie Reapers (5 strikes): New blood is mandatory. Period.

All remaining lineup spots may be filled at the captain's discretion, provided the above limits and minimums are respected.

Enforcement: Lineups are validated at team lock-in. Players who level up mid-season remain lineup-legal. Any new addition must keep the team compliant at the time of signing.

Season Structure

  • Season Length: 16 weeks
  • Season Pass: $50 (league dues for 16 weeks)
  • Match Entry: $30 (covers all 3 rounds)
  • Schedule: One match per week — home and away rotation
